A CLEARER WAY TO CHOOSE

Plain vermicast or a Perky booster?

Choose by ingredients and growing needs. The plant group helps you browse; it does not mean a product replaces the particular compost or feeding programme your plant needs.

Product What’s listed inside Where to start
Premium Vermicast Plain vermicast For growers looking for our unblended material; choose a 2, 5 or 10-litre pack.
Veg Boost Vermicast + pre-charged horticultural biochar Vegetables and salads
Harvest Boost Vermicast + pre-charged horticultural biochar Tomatoes, peppers and chillies
Bloom Boost Vermicast + pre-charged horticultural biochar Flowers and ornamentals
Herb Boost Vermicast Herbs; ask about your particular variety
Houseplant Boost Fine-screened vermicast + pre-charged horticultural biochar Established indoor houseplants

All five boosters are 2 litres at £12.99 plus P&P, with one-off or repeat delivery options. Check each product page before buying. Products sharing ingredient names should not be assumed to have different nutrient levels or proven plant-specific results.

Plan your application before you order.

Pack size tells you how much material you receive. Coverage depends on the application rate for that product and your growing situation.

  1. Identify your product: plain vermicast, a booster and liquid worm tea need their own instructions.
  2. Measure your growing space: note pot sizes and numbers, or the length and width of your bed.
  3. Check the plant: tell us about seedlings, acid-loving plants or other specialist requirements.
  4. Confirm the amount and interval: use the product’s supplied directions. If you do not have them, ask us before applying. A subscription delivery interval is not an application schedule.

Ask about quantities and use → — include your chosen product, plant and pot sizes or bed area.

Choose with confidence.

  1. Start with the plant. Note its name, growth stage and whether it is in a pot, bed or border.
  2. Check what it grows in. Existing soil or potting compost, drainage and any current feeding programme all matter.
  3. Read the ingredients. Plain vermicast and blended boosters are different products. Match the instructions to the bag you buy.
  4. Use the stated amount. Follow the pack instructions. Ask us for product-specific quantities if you are unsure; a pack volume is not a guaranteed coverage area.

Your questions, answered.

Is a booster a replacement for compost?

Our Perky boosters complement existing soil or suitable growing media. They are not sold as a complete growing medium or a complete plant feed.

What if I don’t know my soil pH?

You can choose “I don’t know” in the quiz. It offers a starting point for browsing; check the product ingredients and ask us about specialist or acid-loving plants.

Can I buy once or subscribe?

The five Perky blends offer a one-time purchase or repeat delivery every 1, 2 or 3 months. Check the purchase option and delivery charges before checkout. See subscription help for managing repeat deliveries.

How much will I need?

Tell us the product, plant type, number and size of pots, or bed area. We can discuss the product-specific guidance with you before you order.
